Annual Recovery Walk

On September 17th, 2016, Support4Recovery, Inc. will host Contra Costa County’s 12th Annual Recovery Walk and Celebration in Martinez.

This highly anticipated event is the flagship event for members of the recovery community during National Recovery Month.

Last year, over 10 community-based organizations, numerous local businesses, and over 100 volunteers joined together to make the event a huge success! 500 plus attendees celebrated a day of recovery with family and friends.

Since its inception in 2005, the Recovery Walk has focused on honoring those who have overcome their addictions and welcoming all willing individuals who wish to live an alcohol and other drug free life.

This year we are asking local businesses and community members to sponsor our event. Your sponsorship will ensure that this Annual Event continues. Our event includes a walk through downtown Martinez, a Barbeque Lunch and speeches by prominent community members.

Past supporters have included Peet’s Coffee & Tea, Kinder’s Meats & Deli, John Muir Behavioral Health Center For Recovery, Anastasia Stephanopoulos of J. Rockcliff Realtors, Aswad Properties, LLC, Contra Costa County Alcohol and Other Drugs Services, Dr. Stephen Eriksen DDS, Dr. David Tancreto DDS, Fresh Start Alumni Association, Kaufman Home Improvement, LeadMasters Solutions LLC, Sports Basement Walnut Creek, Ujima Family Recovery Services, John and Rae Cassidy, James and Barbara, Harold and Carol, Lynne Marie, Addiction Recovery Counseling-San Quentin Prison, Bill’s Ace Hardware, East County Alano Club, East County Wollam, Frederic Oznam Center Alumni Association, John Worthington, New Hope International Church, Simply Selling Shirts, The Warm Company, Walnut Creek Half marathon, Youth Spirit Artworks, John and Hope and other local businesses.

By joining as a supporter, your business will be recognized as a business committed to helping achieve healthy communities and healthy families, through the celebration of recovery.

We hope you will consider joining us this year with your financial support. Attached is the sponsorship packet. Please contact us with your questions or concerns, we wish to help you with your decision.

We are a local non-profit organization and rely entirely on volunteers and financial donations from the community for support.
